Target expands retail presence in New York

Target is expanding its retail footprint in New York State, with several new locations scheduled for opening. A new 90,000-square-foot store is set to open on October 11 in Bridgehampton. This location will feature a CVS Pharmacy, a Starbucks Café, and services such as Drive Up and Order Pickup. The company stated the store’s design is intended to reflect the coastal aesthetic of the town.

Additionally, Target has confirmed plans for another location within the Rego Center shopping mall in Queens. While the specific opening date for the Queens location has not been announced, the site is expected to span 137,000 square feet. This expansion is part of a broader corporate strategy to open over 300 new stores by 2035 across various U.S. states, including Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Texas.
