Target partners with Uber Eats for on-demand delivery in Australia
Target has partnered with Uber Eats to offer on-demand delivery of more than 25,000 products in Australia. This move makes Target the first fashion retailer in the country to join the delivery platform.
Customers can order items including clothing, school uniforms, beauty products, homewares, toys, and baby essentials, with deliveries expected to arrive within 60 minutes. The service will initially launch across 20 Target stores before expanding through a national rollout in the new year.
Target products will be priced identically to in-store prices, though service and delivery fees will apply. Bernard Wilson, Chief Customer Officer for Kmart and Target, stated the partnership aims to provide more ease and flexibility for shoppers who need items quickly, particularly ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
