Target recalls 5 million Threshold brand glass jar candles

Target has issued a recall for approximately 5 million units of its Threshold brand glass jar candles due to safety concerns.

The recall is prompted by reports that the glass jars can crack or break during use. This failure poses a risk of lacerations and burns from broken glass and hot wax.

Consumers should inspect their candles for item numbers starting with ‘432’ on the bottom label. If a candle matches this description, it should not be lit and should be set aside immediately.
