Tarifa approves new tender for 59 social housing units
The PSOE political group in Tarifa has voted to support a new tender for 59 social rental homes in the Extramuros area. This decision aims to prevent the loss of Next Generation European Union funding due to project delays.
The approval follows a previous tender process that was declared void after no companies submitted bids. To facilitate the new procurement process, the Tarifa City Council has increased the project budget by 12%, bringing the total to 5,524,364 euros including VAT. This represents a cost increase of 591,442 euros compared to the original estimate.
