Tarik Muharemović named youth sports role model

Bosnia and Herzegovina national football player Tarik Muharemović has been named the new SIM role model for the 16th season of the Plazma Sportske igre mladih (Youth Sports Games). The recognition was decided by the young participants of the games, who selected Muharemović as an individual representing talent, hard work, perseverance, and belief in one's dreams.

During the event, Muharemović was presented with a plaque following a video showcasing his sporting journey. In addition to those present, children from various cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina sent video messages explaining why they look up to him.

Following the presentation, Muharemović engaged in an informal session with the children. Instead of a traditional press conference, the youth asked questions ranging from his early football dreams and training rituals to personal interests such as music and video games. Muharemović expressed his gratitude for the honor, noting that he once looked up to role models himself when he was a child.
