Tarik Muharemović near €15 m move back to Juventus

Bosnian centre‑back Tarik Muharemović is close to rejoining Juventus after two seasons on loan at Sassuolo. Italian insider Nicolò Schira reports a base fee of €15 million with up to €3 million in bonuses. The player has agreed in principle to a contract running until 2031 and a salary of €2.2 million per year. Juventus retains a 50 % sell‑on clause from the original deal that sent Muharemović to Sassuolo, meaning the club would only pay roughly half of the market price. The transfer, still pending official confirmation, would see Muharemović return to the Turin club as a more experienced Serie A defender.

Muharemović, 23, was born in Ljubljana and developed in Austria before joining Juventus in 2021. After limited first‑team opportunities, he spent the 2022‑24 seasons with Sassuolo, helping them secure promotion to Serie A and earning a regular spot in the Bosnia‑Herzegovina national team. Juventus view him as a solution for the left side of their defence under manager Luciano Spalletti.
