Tarik Skubal identified as top target in MLB free agency rumors

Major league baseball insiders have identified several potential landing spots for pitcher Tarik Skubal as he approaches free agency. According to a survey of industry professionals, the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets are viewed as primary contenders for his services. The New York Yankees also appear as a significant possibility, potentially serving as a fallback option if other big-market teams do not meet his financial demands.

Other teams mentioned as potential suitors include the Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Philadelphia Phillies. Some analysts have identified the Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, and Chicago White Sox as sleeper candidates. Specifically, the White Sox have been suggested as a potential fit to anchor their pitching staff, though questions remain regarding their willingness to commit significant financial resources.
