Taringa Park mixed farm hits market near Karoonda

Taringa Park, a large mixed farming property located near Karoonda in the Mallee region of South Australia, has been put on the market. The 2,079-hectare (5,137-acre) estate is being offered with a suggested price of approximately $1,000 per acre, requiring an investment of more than $5 million.

The operation combines cropping with a significant sheep enterprise, including a self-replacing Merino flock of about 1,200 breeding ewes and prime lamb production. Improvements to the property include a modern shearing complex, extensive shedding, fencing, and water infrastructure consisting of three bores and a reticulated stock water system.

Agents noted that the property has undergone significant long-term investments, including clay spreading on more than 400 hectares to enhance productivity. The sale is being conducted via highest and best offers, with a closing date set for Monday, September 25.
