Tarique Rahman marks BNP's 48th anniversary in Dhaka

Tarique Rahman, Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), attended events marking the 48th anniversary of the party's founding. During a discussion meeting held at the KIB auditorium in Farmgate, Dhaka, Rahman credited the general public as the primary architects of the success of the 2024 movement. He emphasized that the BNP has always worked to protect people's interests and ensure democratic rights, expressing a commitment to building a humanitarian and welfare-oriented state.

Rahman also addressed the need for neutral elections and warned against political forces that attempt to obscure their true nature. He called on party members to raise awareness among the public regarding these forces.

The anniversary celebrations concluded with a cultural program organized by JASAS, the party's socio-cultural wing. Rahman attended the musical evening as a member of the audience, enjoying performances by various artists, including Sajjad Hossain Palash and Moushumi Chowdhury, which featured patriotic songs.
