Tarık Biberovic departs Fenerbahçe for NBA's Dallas Mavericks

Turkish basketball player Tarık Biberovic has officially departed Fenerbahçe to join the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. Before beginning his new chapter in the United States, the 25-year-old visited the Fenerbahçe training facility to bid farewell to head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, staff, and teammates.

During the visit, Biberovic expressed his emotional connection to the club, stating, “Fenerbahçe is always like family to me. This is my home.” He noted his intention to represent Fenerbahçe to the best of his ability during his time in the NBA.

Former teammate Wade Baldwin also attended the session, offering humorous remarks about Biberovic’s departure while acknowledging his significant impact on the team. Over his eight seasons with Fenerbahçe, Biberovic contributed to multiple titles, including one EuroLeague championship, four Turkish League titles, and five Turkish Cups.
