Tarleton State defeats Chicago State 56-21

Tarleton State University football moved to a 5-0 season record following a 56-21 victory over Chicago State on Saturday night. The win marks the second time in the program's Division I era that it has started a season with five consecutive wins.

Quarterback Kaden Anderson contributed four touchdown passes, bringing his season total to 12 touchdown passes without an interception. Running back Miequle Brock led the rushing attack with 149 yards, while freshman Bryce Green recorded three rushing touchdowns, becoming the first freshman running back in the D1 era to achieve three touchdowns in a single game.

Despite an early 7-0 lead by Chicago State, Tarleton State took control in the second quarter. The Texans' defense also contributed with multiple interceptions and a forced fumble.
