Tarnowskie Góry celebrates 500th anniversary with historical parade

Tarnowskie Góry celebrated its 500th anniversary with a series of festivities, highlighted by the traditional Gwarki parade. The historical procession featured local authorities, regional representatives from Tuchola County, and historical figures such as Jan III Sobieski and Marysieńka.

The four-day celebration included various events and concerts, with the parade serving as the central moment. To ensure public safety during the festivities, local police, supported by prevention units and mounted officers from Katowice and Częstochowa, managed security and traffic. During the event, police conducted over 170 interventions and inspected 150 vehicles.
