Tarnów Diocese blesses 226 new liturgical ceremonialists

Bishop Andrzej Jeż of the Tarnów Diocese presided over a ceremony on September 19, 2026, to bless 226 new ceremonialists. These individuals, representing 109 parishes, completed a year of preparation including five sessions of a Ceremonialist Course held at the Diocesan Retreat House in Ciężkowice.

The training program focused on liturgical regulations, spiritual significance, the conduct of various celebrations, and the use of liturgical vestments and vessels. The new ceremonialists will now serve in their respective parishes, including those from Brzesko and Szczepanów, to ensure the orderly and dignified conduct of liturgies.
