TAROM's Boeing 737 MAX delivery pushed to August 2026

Romanian flag carrier TAROM confirmed that the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft left Boeing’s Renton assembly line on 10 July 2026. The jet will undergo ground tests, test flights and be painted in TAROM livery before entering service.

Delivery of the two leased MAX 8s from Irish‑based CDB Aviation has been delayed again. TAROM attributes the setback to revised certification procedures required by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, moving the expected arrival of the first aircraft from late July to the end of August 2026.
