Tarouca Municipal Council of Education begins new mandate

The Tarouca Municipal Council of Education has officially commenced its new mandate, which is set to run until 2029. Installed during a meeting at the Municipal Palace on September 9, the council serves as a platform for participation and reflection on local educational policies.

During the inaugural session, the council approved its internal regulations and elected two secretaries to assist the president. Key discussions included an assessment of school activities for the 2025/2026 academic year and the review of the school transport plan for the 2026/2027 period to ensure adequate student mobility.
