Tarquinia hosts 20th edition of DiVino Etrusco wine festival
The 20th edition of the DiVino Etrusco festival recently concluded in Tarquinia, marking a milestone for the event. The festival transformed the historic center of the city into a dedicated route for wine, Etruscan culture, and local traditions.
This year's edition featured 54 wineries and over 100 wines available for tasting. Curated by food journalist Carlo Zucchetti and supported by sommeliers from Fisar Tuscia Viterbese, the event saw record attendance and ticket sales. A notable expansion included wineries from Sardinia, Sicily, and Calabria, connecting the local identity to broader Mediterranean trade routes.
Beyond tastings, the seven-day event included concerts, literary meetings, and exhibitions. The festival also hosted a press tour for specialized Italian food and wine journalists to visit local vineyards and producers, reinforcing the event's status as a significant cultural and economic brand for the region.
