Tarragona school inspection finds no evidence of fleas

A technical inspection conducted by the specialized company Sedesa at the Institut Escola l'Arrabassada in Tarragona found no evidence of fleas in the reviewed areas. The investigation was ordered by the Tarragona City Council following reports from the school administration regarding potential insect presence in the early childhood education patios.

While the inspection results have provided some relief to the Parents' Association (AFA), concerns remain regarding the cleanliness of the school. Families have reported issues with dust in classrooms and hallways, attributed to ongoing construction works in the surrounding area.

In response to the construction, the City Council stated that the most disruptive phases involving noise and vibrations have concluded. To mitigate dust, authorities plan to implement periodic watering of the roads. A meeting with the educational community is scheduled for next week to discuss the work schedule and cleaning measures.
