Tarragona selected for TVE’s ‘De Tapas por España’ filming

The TVE program ‘De Tapas por España’ will film in Tarragona on September 7, 8, and 9 as part of its third season. Produced by Atlántida Productions and hosted by Adrienne Chaballe, the episode aims to showcase the city’s gastronomy, Roman heritage, and cultural traditions.

The filming itinerary includes several local culinary landmarks. Highlights include Bar El Cortijo, where chef Santos Masegosa will demonstrate a traditional ‘esmorzar de forquilla’; Arcs Restaurant, featuring dishes from Carlos Llobet; El Terrat, where chef Moha Quach blends Catalan and Moroccan traditions; Ca l’Eulàlia, focusing on seafood from the Serrallo fish market; and El Cup Vell with Pau Feliu.

Beyond dining, the production will explore Tarragona’s historical sites, such as the Roman amphitheater, the Roman circus, the Tarragona Cathedral, and the Rambla Nova. The program will also highlight local traditions like the Castells (human towers) and the city’s maritime history at the Serrallo fish market.
