Tarragona's Festival Sota la Palmera Wraps Up with Music, Reggae and Outdoor Cinema
The Festival Sota la Palmera in Tarragona enters its final stage, featuring a diverse programme at Espai Jove La Palmera. The all‑female band Las Karamballe will open the Thursday night, presenting their new work "Te lo digo cantando" which addresses women's roles and daily challenges. On Friday, singer‑songwriter Susannes will lead the "Nit del Pop Rural" followed by Agnès Algueró’s intimate pop‑rural set.
The festival’s reggae night on Saturday includes performances by Kwsk Ninja, reggae pioneer Chronic Sound (Lucky Lucas), and the dance troupe Melanin Team, ending with the local group Komando Sound. The event also offers an outdoor cinema session, screening the Senegalese film "Une si longue lettre" and a post‑screening discussion with writer and activist Remei Sipi.
