Taís Araújo to perform solo play in Fortaleza

Actress Taís Araújo will perform her new solo production, ‘Mudando de Pele - um solo coletivo’, at the Cineteatro São Luiz in Fortaleza on October 29 and 30, 2026. The performance marks her return to the stage after a five-year hiatus focused on television work.

Based on the English book ‘Shedding a Skin’ by Amanda Wilkin, the play follows a woman named Mayah on a journey to discover her identity. The production features live music, including the West African kora played by musician Layla, and musical direction by Dani Nega. The show has previously toured major Brazilian cities including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Sul, often selling out sessions.
