Taschen announces sales and new artist monographs

The publishing house Taschen has announced a sale running from September 2 to September 6, featuring discounts of up to 70% on selected titles. The sale is available online and, specifically for those in Madrid, at the physical store on Calle Barquillo on September 2.

Among the featured works are new monographs from prominent artists. French photographer Bettina Rheims presents a retrospective spanning 35 years, collecting over 300 photographs from series such as ‘Chambre close’ and ‘Héroïnes’. Her work explores the intersection of beauty and imperfection, featuring subjects ranging from anonymous individuals to celebrities like Madonna and Kate Moss.

Other new publications include a definitive monograph on the career of artist and activist Ai Weiwei, and a volume by David Hockney that examines his use of the iPhone and iPad as creative tools to capture landscapes in Yorkshire.
