Tashkent State University hosts Chinese Haiwei+ delegation

A delegation from the Chinese academic consulting firm Haiwei+ Academic Planning visited the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TDSHU) on 28 July. Seventeen Chinese students, twelve parents and agency representatives attended. The parties discussed opportunities for Chinese youth to study in Uzbekistan, TDSHU’s language programmes (including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Urdu, Turkish, Indonesian and Malay) and the broader prospects for academic cooperation.

University officials detailed admission procedures, scholarship options and the curriculum for foreign students. Both sides agreed to maintain ongoing dialogue to attract more Chinese students and expand joint academic projects between Uzbek and Chinese higher‑education institutions.
