Tashkent traveler visits Japanese cemetery and Islamic Civilization Center

A traveler visiting Tashkent, Uzbekistan, documented a visit to the Japanese cemetery located within the Yakka-sayray municipal cemetery. The site serves as a resting place for 87 Japanese individuals, including those who died during wartime internment. The cemetery is maintained with care and includes a Japanese museum managed by local descendants who maintain a connection to Japanese culture.

The visit also included the Islamic Civilization Center located at Basvati Imam Square. The center features extensive exhibits on the Silk Road, historical models, and astronomical research. The facility, which is scheduled for completion in 2025, offers interactive displays and allows visitors to experience historical settings through various exhibits.
