Tasico and Department of Environment hold first joint working group meeting

Tasico (Sadr Tamin Investment Company) and Iran’s Department of Environment held their first joint working group meeting to strengthen cooperation and address environmental challenges. The meeting included Tasico CEO Seyyed Alireza Siasi-Rad and Marjan Shakeri, Director General of the Environmental Impact Assessment Office of the Department of Environment.

During the session, Tasico officials presented strategies regarding sustainable development and the environmental compliance of the holding’s subsidiary companies. The goal of the working group is to align Tasico’s operations with environmental regulations, with the aim of transforming the mining holding into one of the greenest companies in Iran.

Siasi-Rad emphasized that the group is committed to sustainable development, stating that mining growth and profitability must occur alongside environmental protection and the interests of local communities. The Department of Environment noted that following environmental laws is a primary duty of industrial entities and agreed to continue case-by-case reviews to resolve existing issues.
