Tasmania spring festivals and cultural events for 2026

Tasmania is hosting a variety of cultural, culinary, and arts festivals throughout the 2026 spring season. Key events include the Junction Arts Festival in Launceston from September 17 to 20, featuring contemporary art and live performances. In the northwest, the CHArts Festival begins on September 4, offering over 40 events across the Circular Head region, including the CHArtchibald portrait competition.
