TASNI to present documentary on healthcare innovation in Senegal

The cultural space Can Bum in Pollença will host the presentation of the short documentary ‘Més que una botiga: innovació social en cooperació sanitària’ on Friday, October 2. The film, produced by the local NGO TASNI, explores sustainable healthcare models for rural communities in Senegal.

The project focuses on a social enterprise model implemented within community health centers in the Casamance region. This strategy aims to generate independent income to ensure the retention of volunteer health personnel and facilitate preventive care for local women through participatory, context-adapted solutions. The event will include a screening and a talk by Sidy Giroux, the entity's coordinator in Senegal.
