Tasos Donis reaches agreement to return to APOEL

Tasos Donis, the 29-year-old Greek attacking midfielder, has reached a verbal agreement with APOEL regarding the financial terms and duration of a new contract. The move would mark a return to Cyprus for the player, who previously played for the Nicosia-based club for three seasons between 2022 and 2025.

To finalize the transfer, Donis must first reach a mutual termination of his contract with his current club, Aris FC. Aris is reportedly looking to reduce its large roster of 35 players, and Donis is among those considered for departure following a season in which he made 14 appearances and scored one goal.

Donis is well-acquainted with the Cypriot league and APOEL, having made 77 appearances for the club during his previous tenure.
