A large fire completely razed the vacation home of Greek actor Tasos Halkias in Porto Germeño. The destruction was confirmed by his son, Aris Halkias, who posted photos of the charred remains on social media.

Aris described the loss as the end of a 52‑year family story, recalling memories from childhood to adulthood and expressing deep sorrow for the tragedy that reduced the house to ash in a single night.
