Taste the South festival begins in Gevgelija

The fourth edition of the ‘Taste the South’ festival has commenced in Gevgelija at the Mega Shopping Park. The opening night focused on traditional food production, specifically the preparation of ajvar, alongside local wines and musical performances by various regional groups.

The festival schedule includes dedicated days for different local specialties. The second day focuses on fig products, featuring demonstrations and tastings. The final day is dedicated to traditional rakija production and includes a program for all generations, featuring musical acts such as Karolina Gocheva to conclude the event.
