Several Indian companies reported significant financial developments and infrastructure deals. G R Infraprojects signed a Rs 91.60 crore concession agreement to develop a Multi Modal Logistics Park in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The project, managed by its subsidiary Fourwrd MMLP Varanasi Private Limited, will follow a design, build, finance, and operate (DBFOT) model with a 45-year concession period.
In the technology sector, Tata Elxsi saw its shares rise by 7% following September quarter results that showed a 10% annual increase in net profit to Rs 170 crore and a 15% rise in revenue to Rs 1,056 crore. Despite the recent recovery, some brokerage firms have maintained a ‘sell’ rating due to the stock's long-term downward trend.
Bajaj Consumer Care reported a 65.88% increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter, reaching Rs 70.15 crore. However, the company's stock price declined by approximately 9% on the BSE, despite the reported rise in total income and profit.
