Tata Institute of Social Sciences announces 2026 faculty and staff recruitment

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has issued two recruitment notifications for 2026. One notification invites applications for a single Assistant Professor position across a range of social‑science disciplines. Candidates must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks and have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D., with an application deadline of 20 August 2026. The monthly salary for the post is Rs 57,700.

A separate notice lists six vacancies for Project Coordinator (1), Programme Officer (4) and Program Administrative Staff (1). Applicants need relevant postgraduate qualifications in psychology or a B.Com with experience, and salaries range from Rs 38,000 to Rs 82,000 per month.
