Tata Motors increases Punch EV prices in India

Tata Motors has implemented a price increase for its Punch EV model in India as of September 2026. The price hike is attributed to rising input costs.

For the electric variants, the 30 kWh battery models have increased by ₹10,000, while the 40 kWh battery variants have seen an increase of up to ₹20,000. Following this revision, the starting price for the Punch EV is ₹9.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

The lineup includes several trims, such as the Smart 30 kWh at ₹9.79 lakh and the top-spec Empowered+ S 40 kWh at ₹12.99 lakh. For customers utilizing the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, the starting price is set at ₹6.49 lakh.
