Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata opens registration for 11th edition

Registration for the 11th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata opened on August 13, 2026. The event, promoted by Procam International, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 20, 2026, starting from Red Road.

As the world’s first World Athletics Gold Label 25K, the race enters its second decade. Organizers noted that the event has grown into a movement that promotes healthier lifestyles, encourages female participation in running, and enhances Kolkata’s reputation as a global sporting destination.

Participants in the physical and virtual races will receive a unique ‘Medal of Steel’ crafted from Tata Steel metal. The event also features a ‘Home Run Squad’ initiative, providing digital mementos for families with at least four confirmed participants.
