Canadian singer Tate McRae has achieved significant global success with her new single, ‘Housewife’, which has held the number one position on the Spotify Global chart for a week. The track has garnered over 39 million streams, surpassing Karol G’s ‘BbY WOW’. In addition to its streaming dominance, the song has reached number one in several markets, including Australia, Germany, Austria, Ireland, and Norway, and is approaching the top two in the United Kingdom and Sweden.

Despite its massive streaming numbers and a high-profile performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the single is projected to miss the number one spot on the US Billboard charts. Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas’ is expected to maintain the top position for its 25th week, bolstered by significant radio airplay. While McRae’s single leads in streaming, Langley’s radio impressions have significantly outpaced other major artists this week.

In Spain, ‘Housewife’ debuted at number 44 on the national charts, marking the strongest entry of the week in that territory.
