Tate McRae releases new single ‘Housewife’ and performs at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Canadian singer Tate McRae has released her new single ‘Housewife,’ an empowering pop anthem exploring themes of financial independence, autonomy, and the pressures of fame. The track, released under RCA Records, serves as a lead single for her anticipated fourth studio album. The accompanying cinematic music video, directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti and filmed in the South of France, features choreography by Sergio Reis.

McRae also delivered a high-profile performance at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles. Appearing in a red lingerie ensemble with sheer wings, she performed ‘Housewife’ and ‘Sports Car’ on the runway. Her appearance and dance routines received significant attention on social media, with many noting her stage presence and catwalk ability.

Following the release, ‘Housewife’ topped a Billboard new music poll, securing over 51% of the vote. This follows a successful year for the artist, which included headline sets at Lollapalooza and Osheaga, as well as the launch of her debut fragrance, TATE 01.
