Tate McRae stars on W Magazine cover for The Originals Issue

Pop singer Tate McRae is the first cover star for W Magazine’s “The Originals Issue,” scheduled for release on October 27. In the feature, McRae discusses the complexities of fame, her growth as a pop star, and the challenge of maintaining her identity amidst public scrutiny.

McRae addressed recent public reactions to her musical collaboration with Morgan Wallen, stating, “It is crazy to think that a single song could define an entire person.” She noted that much of her personality remains unknown to the majority of her audience.

The cover shoot, photographed by Juergen Teller, features McRae in a turquoise jumpsuit from the Hermes Fall/Winter 2026 collection, characterized by a double-slit design. She completed the look with Christian Louboutin pumps.
