Tatiana Calderón wins historic NASCAR Brasil race in Curvelo

Colombian driver Tatiana Calderón made history in NASCAR Brasil by becoming the first woman to win a race in the series' general category. The victory occurred during Race 2 of the seventh stage at the Curvelo Oval (Circuito dos Cristais) in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Starting from 15th position in her Ford Mustang, Calderón climbed through the field, finishing fourth in the first race of the day. In the second race, she took the lead following an incident involving driver Alfredo Ibiapina. She successfully defended her position against pressure from Felipe Malinowski to secure the win with a time of 33:56.418.

Malinowski finished in second place, followed by Ricardo Mauricio in third. This win secures Calderón a spot in the playoffs, with the postseason scheduled to begin in Chapecó between October 31 and November 1.
