Tatiane Salles Represents Belford Roxo in Miss Eco Rio de Janeiro 2026

Nutrition student and former model Tatiane Salles, 36, will compete as Belford Roxo's representative in the state stage of the Miss Eco Rio de Janeiro 2026 pageant, scheduled for 5‑9 August in Angra dos Reis. The contest blends traditional beauty competition with a focus on sustainability, ecotourism and environmental awareness, encouraging participants to promote projects such as basic sanitation and conservation in their communities.

Salles highlighted her background in fashion, her studies in human‑resources management, forensic investigation and nutrition, and her current work in commercial finance. She also emphasized her long‑standing commitment to animal welfare, caring for ten rescued dogs and volunteering at the local sanctuary Sítio Santuário Nosso Sonho. Cultural secretary André Carvalho praised the municipality's cultural revitalisation efforts and expressed confidence that Salles could bring the title to Belford Roxo.
