Tatjana Genrich to make professional boxing debut

Tatjana Genrich, the 2022 Miss Germany titleholder, is set to make her professional boxing debut on November 14 at the Magdeburger Messehalle. Genrich, who has lived in Germany since 2003, aims to eventually become a world champion.

Her interest in boxing began as a response to being bullied in school. She was an amateur state champion in Saxony-Anhalt from 2007 to 2009 and attended a sports school in Halle/Saale. She was later encouraged to return to the ring by promoter Ulf Steinforth.

Genrich is currently training five days a week under coach Dirk Dzemski. SES Boxing promoter noted her ambition and charisma, suggesting she has the potential to follow in the footsteps of boxing star Regina Halmich. Genrich expressed her desire to serve as a role model for young women, demonstrating success in both professional and athletic pursuits.
