An ATM belonging to Clientis-Bank was detonated near the Thayngen railway station in Switzerland early Wednesday morning, September 30, 2026. The explosion occurred shortly before 4:00 AM.

Authorities report that a group of approximately three suspects was involved. One individual, believed to be a Dutch national, was seriously injured in the blast, sustaining wounds to his hand and thigh; he was transported to a hospital in Schaffhausen. Two other suspects fled the scene in a black vehicle toward Germany.

Due to the discovery of unexploded ordnance at the site, police cordoned off the area surrounding the station. The investigation is being conducted under the direction of the Federal Prosecutor's Office.
