Tatort returns with ‘König in Gelb’ featuring Charlotte Lindholm
The German crime series ‘Tatort’ returns from its summer break with a new episode titled ‘König in Gelb’. In this 33rd case for investigator Charlotte Lindholm, played by Maria Furtwängler, the investigation takes place in a village for people living with dementia.
Lindholm is joined by Commissioner Matthias Vogel, a cold-case investigator who suffers from dementia himself. Vogel claims that a series of deaths in the facility, which may initially appear to be accidents, are actually the work of a serial killer who has allegedly killed at least seven people over the last 20 years. The case forces Lindholm to confront themes of mortality and reliability.
Following a new release schedule by ARD, the episode is available for streaming in the Mediathek starting Friday, September 11, two days before its traditional television broadcast on Sunday, September 13, at 20:15.
