Tatra banka announces scheduled card payment maintenance

Tatra banka has announced planned maintenance for its card system scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, between 00:01 and 03:00. The bank expects eight short interruptions during this window, with each lasting approximately three minutes, totaling about 24 minutes of downtime.

The service disruption specifically affects card payments made at merchant payment terminals operated by Tatra banka. This means that even customers of other banks may experience issues if they attempt to use their cards at a Tatra banka terminal during these intervals.

The bank noted that mobile applications, internet banking, ATM withdrawals, and online payments are not expected to be affected by this maintenance. The work is a planned infrastructure update rather than a response to a security incident or unexpected failure.
