GALLUSYS and HIS to launch ‘Tabi Share’ travel project in 2026

GALLUSYS, a subsidiary of GigWorks, and travel agency HIS have announced a joint project called ‘Tabi Share’ set to launch in autumn 2026. The initiative combines the blockchain-based photo game ‘SNPIT’ with travel experiences to create a new interactive map of Japan.

The project aims to uncover and share the charm of accommodation and tourist facilities across more than 10,000 locations nationwide. Using an in-app camera linked to location data, users can only upload photos that prove they have physically visited a site, ensuring the authenticity of the records.

A key feature is the ‘Location Battle,’ where users compete to become official ambassadors for specific facilities by capturing high-quality photos within a 500-meter radius. Participants can earn points through these battles and area acquisitions, which are redeemable for travel coupons and digital items. The project also introduces ‘MOB’z,’ small animal characters that accompany users on their journeys and reside in locations they enjoy.
