Tattoo artist Leandro Perboni shot dead in Sorriso, Mato Grosso
On Saturday, 27 June, 44‑year‑old tattoo artist Leandro Perboni was killed by gunfire at his residence in Sorriso, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Police say three men arrived at the house, restrained Perboni inside his backyard tattoo studio, placed a video call on a mobile phone, then moved him outside and opened fire, striking him multiple times. A 34‑year‑old man present at the scene was also wounded in the abdomen and taken to a local health unit. The assailants fled in a car; no arrests have been made as investigations continue. Authorities have sealed the area for forensic work by the Civil Police and official technical experts.
