Tattooist Killed in Execution-Style Shooting in Sorriso, Brazil

A 44‑year‑old tattoo artist, Leandro Perboni, was shot to death on Saturday afternoon in the Boa Esperança I neighbourhood of Sorriso, Mato Grosso. Three male assailants entered his home, forced him inside the tattoo studio, and made a video call before dragging him outside and firing multiple rounds, killing him on the spot. A second man, 34, was also wounded in the abdomen but is not in life‑threatening condition.

Police describe the suspects as a tall, lean, dark‑haired man in jeans and a long‑sleeved pink shirt; a shorter dark‑haired man with white‑streaked hair; and a light‑skinned, thin individual. The attackers fled in a black VW Gol bearing a ride‑hailing service sticker. Investigation by the Military Police, Civil Police and forensic experts is ongoing to determine the motive, which could involve a vendetta or pre‑meditated execution, and to locate the perpetrators.
