Taubertal Festival celebrates 30 years in Rothenburg ob der Tauber

The Taubertal Festival marked its 30th anniversary from August 6‑9, 2026, in the historic town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bavaria. Founder and organiser Volker Hirsch said the event has become a "generations‑spanning family festival" and highlighted a sold‑out programme featuring acts such as Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Sportfreunde Stiller, Sido and other long‑time partners.

Festival spokesperson Florian Zoll and build‑team leader Jochen Volkert, both involved for decades, noted that preparations are in their final stages and praised the unique valley setting that gives the open‑air concerts a club‑like sound. Discounted season passes and special tickets were offered, underscoring strong demand for the beloved German music festival.

The festival’s intimate location in the Tauber valley, combined with its family‑friendly atmosphere and long‑standing artist relationships, continues to draw audiences from across the region and beyond.
