Taucha city festival begins with traditional carousel rides

The Taucha city festival, known as Tauchscher, has commenced with a traditional early start for local children. Before the official festivities began on the market and festival grounds, kindergarten groups from Kita Koboldkiste and Kita Spatzennest were invited to ride a carousel operated by showman Nick Liebold.

Liebold noted that hosting these children has become a regular fixture on the Friday of the Tauchscher weekend. Ride prices have remained largely stable, with his children's carousel costing three euros per ride, a price that has been maintained for many years.
