Taucha to host 2026 Tauchscher festival

The town of Taucha will host the ‘Tauchscher’ festival from August 28 to 30, 2026. Organized by the Heimatverein Taucha e. V., the event features a mix of traditional highlights, live music, and sporting activities.

Key attractions include an official opening ceremony at the festival meadow with a fireworks display, a diverse program at the marketplace, and a new concept for the Badergasse area focused on relaxation and Irish folk music. The festival will also include a traditional carnival section with rides such as a roller coaster, bumper cars, and a breakdance ride, concluding with a large parade on Sunday.
