Taurasi to host wine and culture festival in September

The historic center of Taurasi will host the “Settembre al Borgo” event on September 26 and 27. Organized by the Comune di Taurasi and the Comitato Pro Centro Storico Taurasi, the festival focuses on the Taurasi DOCG, a prominent Italian red wine made from Aglianico grapes.

The event is designed as a cultural itinerary through the town's stone heritage, alleys, and squares. The program begins on Saturday, September 26, with an inauguration at the Castello Marchionale di Taurasi at 18:30, followed by the opening of gastronomic stands and live music in the town's squares.

On Sunday, September 27, activities include guided tours and a sensory experience at the castle starting at 10:30. The afternoon will feature gastronomic stands for lunch, followed by a professional masterclass and guided tasting of Taurasi DOCG at 18:00.
