TAURON launches ePrzyłączenia portal as Warsaw prepares for scheduled power cuts

On 1 July 2026 TAURON Dystrybucja introduced the ePrzyłączenia portal, a fully online service that lets customers submit applications to connect new low‑voltage electricity connections. The platform guides users step‑by‑step, offers a power‑need calculator and allows real‑time tracking of request status. It can be used for residential homes, apartments, construction sites, commercial premises, production facilities, street lighting, garages and recreational objects. Marcin Marzyński, TAURON’s Vice‑President for Customer Affairs, said the service turns a “complex procedure into a simple digital service, as easy as online banking.”

Separately, the local network operator announced planned electricity outages in several Warsaw districts between 10 July and 15 July 2026 to carry out transformer upgrades, distribution‑board replacements and low‑voltage network extensions. Affected streets include Promienna, Kartaginy, Trakt Lubelski, Starozaciszańska, Jana Miklaszewskiego and Benedykta Dybowskiego, with outage windows ranging from a few hours to most of the day. Residents were advised to fully charge phones, power banks and laptops, and to keep flashlights ready.

Both initiatives aim to modernise Poland’s electricity infrastructure and improve service reliability for consumers.
